Ainslie and Lady

in 2002 Lady a 6 year old bearded collie owned by Ainslie was ill and had to be helped outside to the toilet as she was suffering arthritis in the rear quarters. Each trip outside and back inside required placing a large towel under Lady and lifting her like a wheelbarrow when she needed to go to the toilet etc . Sadly after visiting the local vet she was told it would be kinder to have Lady "put to sleep"because of the extent of the arthritis.

Having Lady "put to sleep " seemed unthinkable to Anslie and she left the vets to think about her options.

Fortunately being a horse owner she was friendly with a local woman who also being a horse lover offered her service to perform Reki healing on Lady.

After a weeks intensive Reki sessions by Angela, Lady recovered . Now in 2008 , some 6 years later she runs around as if nothing has ever happened.

Helping keeping Lady feel young is her little companion Bruno , the two have become inseperable as some of these recent photos depict.
