St. Michaels 2
In recognition of the excellent care given to the elderly patients in St. Michaels Hospital`s care my wife Margaret and I embarked on a yearly fundraising event for the hospitals funds. Unknown to many is the fact that St. Michaels has an intake of patients from all over West Lothian and not just Linlithgow itself. Having held a charity psychic night at Broxburn Bowling Club which raised over a £1000 for the hospital I had many requests for another "guid night" with highly reputable mediums giving a public demonstration of clairvoyance. A memorable message was given to Sister Taylor from the hospital on the first of these events when some former patients and former staff now in the spirit world relayed a message to her via the medium working on the platform at the time. Though some of the facts were unknown to Sister Taylor at the time she found them to be true and also reflected on current events taking place in the hospital unknown to then medium relaying the messages from the spirit world .
So of we went again organising another psychic night which was another success , now having held four to date we have raised just short of £4000 for the hospital.
The money in year one was put to good use buying a large tv and sound equipment for the dayroom. Year two saw the money help towards paying for ourdoor decking at the hospital. Year three saw the purchase of furniture for the decking area. This year the £900 was used to buy a special therapeutic chair
