Pet Bereavment

Scotland`s top Pet Undertaker Dawn Murray has built a website with the help of husband Dave for those suffering the loss of a family pet and companion. Dawn a trained councillor and a dog owner herself knows the heartache that devasted owners face when the pet who offers us unconditional love dies. On page 2 of our links page you can click on the photo of the collie dog to visit the website directly . Dawn a star of a B.B.C Scotland programme about her work, is also featured in the latest Gordon Smith ( the psychic barber) book about animals, is a friend of Dedridge Spiritualist Church and visits the church whenever she can check out her own website from the Link on page 1 of our Links page.

FACEBOOK

In making the church more approachable to all we are now on Facebook. In the short space of time it has proved quite popular with some of our church visitors.

BABIES

There is a new section about babies and the spirit world which hopefully may answer the question many familes have about what happens. Several hours were spent with a child bereavement councillor at our local hospital to learn what the current procedures are in dealing with such issues. The exchange of information and guidance given us from this wonderfull lady were invaluable .

This, coupled with coversations from diifferent families, not forgetting our own families who have all been placed in this nightmare senario helped us formulate this new section on the website .

To read more about this very sensative subject and its links etc scroll down through the menu on the left .

BLOG

New to the site is a Blog / News section further down the menu. We have included the blog page to give further insight as to what actually happens at during the church service . Quite often people who have never visited a spiritualist church are curious as to what actually gets said/ given by the mediums. Our church is not a place of doom and gloom or bible thumping mediums pressing home their own philosophy. As in all aspects of life the mediums have different personalities as do the spirits who visit from the spirit world sometimes with hilarious results. The services are often lighthearted but respectfull at all times with a nice relaxed atmosphere unlike many conventional churches. Some weeks there is much laughter as old stories / funny events are recounted by the spirits working with the mediums and when there are tears they are usually ones of emotions being released by those receiving the messages. Not sadness.

In some parts of the blog the decriptions of the messages given might be vague this is to protect the identity of the recipients or the private nature of the message being given. Tell us what you think about the BLOG page by leaving us a private message with the help of the contact box which appears only a few pages after the BLOG page in the menu
